1. Fort George Brewery – Astoria

Fort George Brewery is a powerhouse on the coast—and not just because of its epic location in a historic building.

Known for its nationally recognized beers like the Vortex IPA, this two-story brewery has indoor and outdoor seating, a rooftop with sweeping views, and even a connected café.

We chowed down on a tasty oyster po’ boy and a sub sandwich during our visit, which paired perfectly with a flight of their bold, hop-forward brews.

It’s one of those places where the vibe, food, and beer all hit just right. The massive pub menu leans upscale, the brewery has serious craft cred, and the rooftop makes it feel like a full-on destination.

Definitely don’t skip this one when you’re in Astoria.

2. Astoria Brewing Company – Astoria

You can’t go wrong with Astoria Brewing Company—this spot is a personal fave. It’s located right on the Riverwalk with a perfect view of the trolley rolling by and the marina beyond.

Their classic West Coast IPAs are crowd-pleasers with that crisp hop bite you crave.

The vibe here is super laid-back with lots of space inside, a fun gift shop filled with Goonies merch, and even a vintage car on display.

Order at the bar, grab a table, and enjoy some elevated pub fare while watching the world go by on Pier 11.

Their Marionberry Cobbler is also legendary and a must try!

3. Obelisk Beer Co – Astoria

Obelisk is the cool new kid on the Astoria beer scene. Housed in a repurposed warehouse just outside downtown, this spot has an industrial-chic feel with seating right alongside the brewing equipment.

There’s no glass wall here—you’re practically part of the operation. The long wooden bar and high ceilings give it a sleek but welcoming vibe.

Currently, they’re serving beer and pretzels, with plans to open a full restaurant soon.

Though the brewery is still partially operating out of Portland, both brewing and dining are coming to Astoria soon.

4. Public Coast Brewing Co – Cannon Beach

This cozy brewery in Cannon Beach is as charming as the town itself. Set in a house-like building with cedar siding, it blends right into the neighborhood.

Inside, you’ll find a small bar, a cute restaurant, and a sprawling outdoor seating area. Their coconut brown ale has won awards, and the mango jalapeño sour is a flavor-packed standout.

You’ll order at the bar and settle in with typical pub fare and a bit more seafood flair than usual.

Don’t miss the house-made root beer or their root beer floats—perfect for non-drinkers or dessert lovers. It’s a great stop after beach strolling.

5. Sisu Brewing Co at Times Theater – Seaside

Sisu Brewing is one of the most unique breweries on the coast—because it’s inside an old movie theater!

You’ll find the brewing magic behind the screen where they play sports during the day and classic movies at night (yes, Adam Sandler DVDs included). There’s a funky mix of theater seating and regular tables.

The honey orange lager was the standout when we visited, and they specialize in easy-drinking lagers in general.

It’s got a fun vibe, perfect for casual beer sippin’ while watching a flick or catching the game. Check here to see what movie is playing before you go.

6. Beachcrest Brewing Company – Lincoln City

Tucked into a shopping center but way cooler than that sounds, Beachcrest Brewing is a chill little spot with indoor and outdoor seating, meadow views, and a laid-back vibe.

Order at the bar, and wait for your buzzer to ring when the food’s ready. The beer? Some hits and misses. The hazy IPA was the winner, while the milkshake IPAs didn’t quite do it for us.

The real surprise? The mushroom truffle pizza with arugula. It was unexpectedly amazing and might’ve stolen the show.

I know this is a brewery list, but good food matters too. I’m still stopping here on the next trip to see what else they’ve got.

Between the food, the cozy setting, and the friendly staff, this place is still worth a stop—especially if you’re hungry.

7. The Horn Public House & Depoe Bay Brewing – Depoe Bay

This brewery wins for best views—hands down. Overlooking the world’s smallest harbor and sitting right by the iconic Depoe Bay Bridge, The Horn is the perfect coastal hangout.

Their food menu is packed with comfort classics like clam chowder, fish and chips, and seafood baskets.

The beer is solid across the board. We enjoyed the “New Girl IPA,” a crisp and citrusy brew, but the real stars were the scratch-made desserts: Marionberry crisp, Key Lime pie, and even a lemon cheesecake made with IPA.

Two floors of seating give everyone a chance to grab a scenic table.

8. Rogue Ales & Spirits – Newport

A true Oregon beer icon, Rogue’s Newport brewery is a must-visit. Housed in what was likely a former fish-processing facility (look it up to confirm), the building is massive, with a working brewery, gift shop, restaurant, and a bar all under one roof.

You’ll even pass through the brewing area on your way in—very cool.

They’re also a full-on distillery, producing absinthe, whiskey, vodka, and more. When we visited, they were canning a cold IPA right on-site.

It’s a sensory overload in the best way and a fun spot to stock up on Rogue’s harder-to-find seasonal releases.

9. Bier One Brewing – Newport

This funky little brewpub doesn’t currently brew their own beer, but they’ve got excellent taste when it comes to what’s on tap.

The driftwood bar, surfboards, and local art give the space a classic coastal vibe, and the laid-back staff knows their beer.

The tap list featured brews from top Oregon breweries like Fort George and Breakside, and everything we tried was a hit.

The bartender mentioned they’re in the process of building out their new brewing system, so their house beers should return soon. For now, it’s a rad place to grab a pint and chill.

10. Two Shy Brewing – Reedsport

Though their main location is in Roseburg, Two Shy’s Reedsport outpost is a fantastic pit stop for beer lovers. It feels like the local watering hole, and the staff were seriously friendly.

The beer? Excellent. We tried a tangerine peach ale, a chili-infused IPA, and an insanely smooth double-dry-hopped honey milkshake IPA called “Over It.”

There’s no kitchen, but they partner with a nearby pizza place. The space is cozy and wood-heavy, with multiple rooms and even a stage for live music.

It’s the kind of place where you could easily lose a few hours chatting with locals over a cold one.

11. Arch Rock Brewing Company – Gold Beach

This is a quick stop, but a great one. Arch Rock is a walk-up brewery with no on-site drinking—just tasters and takeaways.

You’ll step into a tiny tasting room, sample their award-winning porter, pale ale, or lager, then grab some cans or a crowler to-go.

It’s a peek-behind-the-curtain kind of stop, too—you can see the whole brewing operation through the window.

While they don’t have food or seating, their beers are top-notch, and there’s a restaurant next door that serves their brews if you want to linger longer.

We always rock up with an empty growler or two so we can get a fill up here!

12. Chetco Brewing Company – Brookings

This fun and funky brewery is a great final stop if you’re cruising the coast southbound. Chetco has a little bit of everything—an indoor bar, a semi-covered outdoor area, a sunroom, and even food trucks nearby.

Their dog-friendly theme and beachy, wood-accented decor keep things light and playful.

We sampled everything from apricot sours to hazy IPAs and their signature “Chetco Effect” pale ale. Bonus points for the super tasty veggie food truck and the relaxed vibe.

It’s a solid place to wind down your Oregon Coast beer adventure.
